BE A BOARD MEMBER.

Alternative Residences Alternatives is seeking qualified individuals to serve on its governing board.
We are currently recruiting a:
  • Nurse Practitioner
    With broad knowledge of medications, current treatments and appropriate clinical intervention applicable to chronic mental illness, and general knowledge of how the health system works. You will actively participate on our admittance and discharge committee. This involves reviewing information on potential clients and determining fit for vacancies in any one of our locations.

  • Legal Professional or Lawyer
    Provide insights and risks for our business. This is not a request for legal counsel or representation. As a board member, we are looking for your expertise in guiding our strategic direction and operational decisions.

What to expect as a board member:
• Understand and support the mission and vision of Alternative Residences.
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of a board member.
• Willing to attend meetings, serve on committees, and fulfill board service obligations.
• Ten meetings per year
• Monthly meetings are from 5pm-7pm (we do not meet in July and August)

Unable to commit as a Board Member?

BE A COMMITTEE MEMBER.

Lend your expertise as a member of our Admissions & Discharge Committee or our Building & Finance Committee that meet on an Ad Hoc basis a couple of times a year. Interested candidates are invited to submit a letter of interest and resume by email to edg@arainc.org.
